A DIVERSE ORGANISATION
Home to 10,000 students, researchers and artists every year, over 140 nationalities, 40 houses and a host of services, the Cité Internationale offers a unique setting backed by a remarkable organisation.
The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is unique among French universities and institutions. It is run by a private body, the Fondation Nationale, and is listed as a public-interest organisation. It manages on-site services and 18 residences. The other 22 houses each represent a country or Grande Ecole and have their own legal status.

A HUB FOR ARTS AND CULTURE
Every year, the Cité Internationale hosts 1,000 events in arts and culture, organised by houses, residents and specialist services.
Culture is a cornerstone of life at the Cité Internationale. In addition to its theatre, the campus is also home to an orchestra, choir and heritage centre. It offers a range of services for those researching information either as a hobby or for the purposes of work or studies.

SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES
Covering everything from seminars and forums to award ceremonies, board meetings and receptions, the Seminars and Conferences service is on hand to provide help and advice to organise your events in beautiful surroundings.
The Cité Internationale offers an outstanding setting, providing event organisers with a complete raft of services including venue rental, catering, technical installations and staffing.

Chaque année, ils sont des milliers à poser leurs bagages dans la capitale pour effectuer leurs études. Afin de faciliter l’accueil de ces étudiants étrangers la Cité internationale, avec le concours financier de la Ville de Paris, met en place du 5 septembre au 10 novembre 2011 une structure dédiée aux étudiants étrangers primo-arrivants. De quoi s’agit-il ?
C’est une plate-forme qui regroupe à la Cité internationale les antennes de divers services publics et privés : L’Office français de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration (OFII), la Préfecture de Police de Paris, la Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (CAF), la SMEREP (mutuelle étudiante), la LMDE (mutuelle étudiante) et la RATP.
Un guichet unique donc où les primo-arrivants effectueront l’ensemble des démarches leur assurant un séjour académique réussi.
Une équipe qui accompagne les étudiants étrangers
Le Service d’Accueil des Étudiants Étrangers a également pour mission de répondre aux multiples questions que se posent ces étudiants étrangers fraîchement arrivés. Une équipe multilingue, spécialement formée, pourra les orienter dans la recherche d’un logement, l’obtention d’un titre de séjour, les démarches administratives liées à la santé et au travail, les activités culturelles, associatives ou sportives… Notons qu’une antenne du Service d’Accueil des Étudiants Étrangers est également installée au CROUS de Paris.
Tout est donc fait pour faciliter l’arrivée et l’installation de ces étudiants étrangers ; ils pourront ainsi se concentrer sur l’objet principal de leur venue en France : leurs études !
